Competency frameworks

Moodle includes support for many new features designed to support Competency Based Education.

Competency frameworks are a hierarchical list of Competencies, usually defined by a standards body or central authority.

Competency frameworks can be imported and exported from Moodle in CSV format via Site administration / Competencies / Import competency framework.

Description:

ISCED is the reference international classification for organising education programmes and related qualifications by levels and fields. ISCED Fields of Education and Training 2013 - is a classification of fields of education, which accompanies ISCED 2011 (levels of education). It will be implemented in EU data collections from 2016. ISCED-F 2013 contains 11 broad fields (2 digits), 29 narrow fields (3 digits) and about 80 detailed fields (4 digits). This version does not contain full text of all detailed fields, but at least contains sample subjects for all detailed fields.
